Look at the Yankees and see Torre’s patience — where would they be without Melky Cabrera in center, Robinson Cano at second, Chamberlain and Hughes? Oh yes. While developing those kids and changing the future of the franchise, Torre is the only manager to be in the postseason in 2006 and 2007.

Torre’s patience with young players?!?!? Are you kidding? The same guy that burried Chris Britton, Edwar Ramirez and Wilson Betemit? The guy who just picked Ron Villone over Ian Kennedy?

Yeah, Torre is patient with young playe….. I couldn’t even type it all with a straight face, Gammons is a joke.
